McKinley Elementary Spring Soccer Program

Hosted by West Coast Soccer Academy

📅 Dates: April 17th – May 29th (Thursdays) **No Class May 1st
⏳ Duration: 6 Sessions | Immediately After School 2:20PM-4:00PM
👦 Grades: K-5th (Split into K-2 & 3-5)
⚽ Coaches: 2 Staff Members

💲 Cost: $120 total (50% off for siblings)

Program Overview

This program is designed to build confidence, coordination, and teamwork in young players through fun, structured play. Led by experienced coaches, sessions focus on skill development, social-emotional learning, and game fundamentals.

Skill Development Focus

K-2nd Grade:

  • Ball Control – Dribbling and maneuvering with confidence.

  • Teamwork – Learning to share the ball and play cooperatively.

  • Focus & Following Directions – Engaging drills that enhance attention and listening skills.

3rd-5th Grade:

  • Dribbling & Passing – Improving ball control and passing accuracy.

  • Shooting – Developing power and precision in shooting techniques.

  • Game Strategy – Learning basic soccer formations and team tactics.

  • Teamwork & Focus – Strengthening collaboration and decision-making on the field.

Drop-off & Pick-up Instructions

  • The program starts immediately after school. Teachers will escort participants to the coaches, who will walk them to the McKinley Soccer Field.

  • Pick-up is at 4:00 PM. Parents/guardians must check out their child with a coach before leaving.
